I’ve lost a few mates through suicide but I’ve got too much living to do, too much writing to do. Being 72 years of age now, I’ve got 72 years left in me.

A lot of things happen in your life. That’s why I’ve stuck with the Vietnam Vets Association. If I can help anyone out one way or another or give a bit of a talk, have a bit of fun, write a few poems, that’s what life’s all about.
